If your relative is a hospital inpatient on the UK mainland, Loganair offer a reduced “Hospital Visitor Fare” (HVF). You can book this fare through Patient Travel, who will be able to tell you the current cost.
If you have not qualified as a medical escort, an HVF can also help you accompany a relative who is being admitted to hospital.
Please contact Patient Travel to arrange an HVF. You will need to provide them with:
- Details of the flights you wish to book;
- Your Air Discount Scheme (ADS) card number and PIN, if you have one; and
- Details of the debit or credit card you wish to charge the flight to.
When you book an HVF, Loganair also allows one change to the return date free of charge, in recognition of the fact that plans might change.
