Lincoln was born and brought up in New Zealand and has lived in Shetland since 1999.
Lincoln joined the NHS Shetland board in April 2019. He is currently Chair of the Endowment committee and is a member of the Audit and Clinical Governance Committees. Lincoln is a member of the Integrated Joint Board and Chair of the IJB Audit committee.
Lincoln worked in the private sector from leaving school until joining the SIC in 2000. He studied social work as a trainee with the SIC, graduating in 2010. Since 2015 Lincoln has managed the Moving On Employment Project a charity that supports young people to develop and meet their employability goals.
Lincoln has a keen interest in music, sport and well being especially for young people. He previously coached junior football and rugby locally.
