In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested as we do not record “why the patient waited so long”.

To provide some context with regards to Q1 this patient was discharged with follow up by the Primary Care team.

To provide some context with regards to Q4 this patient was transferred to another NHS provider located on the Scottish mainland. Transfer would be via air ambulance that Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) would task to undertake this transfer. SAS air ambulance service does not have dedicated air ambulances based in Shetland.
