Paediatric Epilepsy - FOI Response Register

I am getting in touch to gather information about the provision of paediatric epilepsy services within different health boards.

I am wondering if I can be provided with information on:

1.    Number of Paediatric Epilepsy Nurse Specialists (PENS) employed within your health board, their banding and their WTE

0, we only employ generalist Paediatric Nurses, any specialist nursing for children and young people with epilepsy is provided by NHS Grampian.

2.    Number of PENS nurse led clinics held per week  

0, these services are organised and provided by NHS Grampian.

3.    Number of Paediatric Neurologists/ General paediatricians with expertise in epilepsy employed within your health board and how many PA they are allocated to paediatric epilepsy

0, we are a small health board and therefore several specialised services are referred to the mainland health boards.

4.    Number of consultant led epilepsy/seizure clinics held per week

0, these services are provided by other health boards to our residents.
