Please note that the majority of scans in relation to cancer are for a known cancer and are therefore not in relation to a suspicion of cancer. Additionally some scans that are in relation to suspicion of cancer may not be recorded as such.

3.    In relation to question 1, how was the individual in question referred for this scan? E.g. GP referral, hospital admission etc

Question 1 covers groups of people so there is no individual in question. These people were referred via a mixture of GP referrals and hospital admissions.

4.    In relation to Question 2, excluding pre-planned and scheduled scans in future years, what is the longest recorded period of time a patient has been waiting for a scan relating to suspicion of cancer?
