Please see below request to Public Health Scotland for the following data, they recommended contacting individual health boards as they did not hold the information I require:
1. Please can I ask for up-to-date statistics on national incident data for ectopic pregnancy. Specifically, can I request the numbers of serious harm incidents in Shetland relating to ectopic pregnancy. The information within the HSIB report 2020 (https://www.hsib.org.uk/investigations-and-reports/the-diagnosis-of-ectopic-pregnancy/) states:
National incident data from the NHS shows that between April 2017 and August 2018 there were 30 missed ectopic pregnancies leading to ‘serious harm’.”
I am requesting recent statistics, relating to serious harm as a result of missed ectopic pregnancies for 2020/2021/2022.
