I am requesting the following information:
1. The number of junior doctors that have left NHS employment in the last seven financial years.
Please provide a breakdown per year (2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23).
Please note Junior doctors rotationally change post between boards, the majority are employed by NHS Grampian or Highlands and rotate out to other boards but remain on host boards payroll so we are unable to report on these so only those that were directly employed.
The above process changed before covid times hence the earlier years reporting numbers being higher
