Please provide the following information:
1. The total number of operations that have been cancelled due to staff shortages or the absence of appropriate staff in the financial year 2022/23
If possible, please provide a breakdown in each instance of which staff member by role was unavailable
Under FOISA s 14(2), NHS Shetland is not obliged to comply with a repeated request from the same requester, if it has recently complied with the original request.
Having reviewed your request, NHS Shetland has determined that the request is identical or substantially similar to your previous request of 22/12/2022 (FOI 2022-604) and so is unable to provide the information requested; we have provided further justification for this decision below:
In response to FOI 2022-604 we provided data for Apr 22-Dec 22. This data covers 9 of the 12 months requested here therefore this request is substantially similar to FOI 2022-604.
However please note that we would be happy to comply with a request that is not repeated and requests data we have not previously supplied ie for Jan 2023-Mar 2023.
