I am emailing with a Freedom of Information request, regarding digital discharge summaries. My query is:
1. Where a freetext search is possible, how many digital discharge summaries included any of the terms “spiked”, “spike” or “spiking" over the past 5 calendar years, and the year to date. Please provide data for each year:-

2020
2021
2022
2023 - latest available data - please specify period
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.
The freetext of digital discharge summaries is not something NHS Shetland has previously analysed. Whilst this information may be obtainable via an SQL script we do not have experience of accessing it with SQL. As this would not involve compiling information from readily available resources held by NHS Shetland but instead using skill and complex judgement to create new information this information is not held by NHS Shetland.
