1. What is the average surgery waiting time for ovarian cancer patients (any surgery to treat the cancer such as a hysterectomy)
NHS Shetland does not routinely perform elective surgery to treat ovarian cancer with patients going to NHS Grampian for surgery. The last patient to have elective surgery in NHS Shetland to treat ovarian cancer was in 2019 so an average wait is not applicable.
2. How many patients in your health board have been referred for private surgery over the past 5 years?
NHS Shetland has not referred any patients with ovarian cancer for private surgery.
3. How many private surgery treatments for ovarian cancer patients have you funded over the past 5 years (it would be helpful to separate refunded payments from funded)
