Consultant Psychiatrist Posts - FOI Response Register

We are aware that one of the responses was to an FOI you submitted and one was to an FOI submitted by your colleague, the wording of which has been used for this request. It may be that this duplication of FOI requests is due to an administrative error? 

Please note: should NHS Shetland continue to receive duplicate requests, we may conclude that the requests are 'vexatious'. Under s 14(1), of FOISA, a Scottish public authority is not obliged to comply with a request for information if the request is vexatious.

Could I please have the following information, with a breakdown for the last five financial years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23)

1. The total number of consultant psychiatrists in your health board

In accordance with FOISA s 16(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it holds the information requested but that it is exempt from disclosure under FOISA s 25(1) as the information requested is accessible without submitting a request under FOISA s 1(1). 2. The number of people holding consultant psychiatrist posts who do not hold specialist registration in psychiatry.
