1. What criteria is used to decide if a patient should be added to the insulin pump waiting list?

We do not have a pump waiting list. Every patient is offered the opportunity to go on a pump and they will be introduced to pump therapy when they are ready for it.

2. How many patients are currently waiting for the delivery of an insulin pump to manager their Type 1 Diabetes condition? Of this figure, how many patients are aged 8 years or under?

None actively waiting at present. We have one who will be upgrading in July.

3. What number of patients currently use a closed-loop, continual glucose monitoring (CGM) system which is being entirely funded by NHS Shetland.
