NHS Scotland has three national screening programs, bowel, breast and cervical. Data for Shetland patients for the breast and cervical screening programmes is held by NHS Grampian. In line with rules for the Scottish Cancer Waiting Times Standards the maximum wait in days for a patient referred by bowel screening for 2021, 2022 and 2023 to date was:
