Please can you provide me with the following information in relation to adult hearing loss services provided by NHS Shetland?
- How many adults are currently waiting for a new patient, first appointment for assessment and treatment of hearing loss?

- How many adult patients are currently waiting for a follow-up or aftercare appointment for assessment and treatment of hearing loss?
4 – for routine hearing aid fitting/treatment.
- How many adult patients are overdue for a follow-up or aftercare appointment for hearing loss services?
None for routine 12 week scheduled follow up for patients who are newly assessed and fitted with hearing aids. All patients receive follow up appointments within 12 week target.
- What is the current average and longest waiting time for a new patient first appointment for assessment and treatment of hearing loss?
Longest wait is 16 weeks. Average wait is 6 weeks
- If possible please provide an aged profile of the waiting list by number of weeks waiting.
