Please tell me how many people of the age of 18 or under were admitted to a ward
immediately after attending your health board’s accident and emergency services since July
1, 2021 up to and including July 25, 2023. Please break down your response by location (for
example, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Dr Gray’s, etc), by calendar month, and by cause
(broken bone, asthma, drug overdose, alcohol overdose, etc). Please provide this in excel
spreadsheet format.With regards to the cause then in accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms
that it does not hold the information requested as presenting complaint is recorded as
uncategorised free text.NHS Shetland only has one hospital, the Gilbert Bain Hospital.
