We will answer regarding the number of patients who were discharged and then readmitted after 1 to 7 days, as we do not use the classification of “failed discharge”.
Figures exclude patients whose:
- 1st or 2nd admission was to Shetland Chemotherapy Unit
- 2nd admission was to Shetland Day Surgery
- 2nd admission was elective
