Dental Practice Complaints - FOI Response Register

1. Please supply the data on complaints you have received from members of the public in relation to dental practices. This relates to contracted dental practices, not the Community Dental Service directly managed by the Board.

This should be broken down by the total number of complaints received from all causes.

If the type of complaint is recorded, I should be grateful for that data as well.

Please supply data for each of the last ten years.

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested as NHS Shetland is not involved in the complaints procedures in independent dental practices.

This information would need to be requested directly from the contracted dental practice. There is one contracted dental practice in Shetland: Lerwick Dental Practice, 4 Market St, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0JN.
