Can I request the following, for each of the last five financial years (2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24 – most recent): for the eight key diagnostic tests, which are upper endoscopy, lower endoscopy (excl. colonoscopy), colonoscopy, cystoscopy, CT scan, MRI scan, barium studies and non-obstetric ultrasound.

1. What is the target length of time for a patient receiving test results (in days), from the point of the test being carried out to the test results being disclosed to the patient?
2. What was the median wait (in days) for a test result, from the point of the test being carried out to the test results being disclosed to the patient?
3. What was the median (in days) for a test result, from the point of the test being carried out to the test results being analysed?
4. What was the longest wait (in days) for a test result, from the point of the test being carried out to the test results being disclosed to the patient?
5. What was the longest wait (in days) for a test result, from the point of the test being carried out to the test results being analysed?

Please provide this information on an excel spreadsheet.

For scopes patients are provided with their result before they leave the department. For medical imaging patients are provided with their images upon request.
