NHS Shetland uses the ICD 10 coding system. Figures provided are for the number of inpatients where the given ICD 10 code was listed as Main Condition or Other Condition.

Please note this means that a patient admitted multiple times for the same condition will be counted multiple times.

Please note that coding does not take place until after discharge and some complex patients may not yet have been coded.
