Acute - Intersystems Trakcare.  First implemented in 2014

Community - EMIS PCS.  First implemented in 2012

2.    Does the Trust scan paper records? If yes, do you

-        scan day forward and legacy records?

Yes

3.    Is above handled

-        In house by your own scanning team?

Yes

-        Outsourced to an off site external service provider?

Yes – some records have been sent offsite for scanning by a third-party

-        On site by an external provider?

No

One-off quantity of records to be scanned undertaken on two occasions.  Awarded to Restore Digital.

Last contract was awarded and completed in 2022

Public Contracts Scotland Contract Tender

6.    Do you have a published road map for paper-free at point of care ‘Digital at point of care’? If yes, please provide a copy or link to this document

No.  Paper-free is included in a new NHS Shetland Digital Strategy that will be published in April 2024.
