I am writing to request information under the freedom of information act regarding your organisations rostering utilisation. Please can you complete the below questions.
- Please provide the rostering solution used for the below staffing groups. Where more than one supplier is used for each staff group, please provide the name of each supplier.
· Medical & Dental –
RL Datix e-Allocate continues to be rolled out across the organisation, no medic rosters are currently using e-Allocate. Dental are now using RL Datix e-Allocate.
· Nursing & Health Care Assistants –
RL Datix e-Allocate continues to be rolled out across the organisation, 50% of Nursing & Midwifery rosters (including care assistants) are using e-Allocate.
· Scientific, Therapeutic & Technical Staff including of Allied Health Professionals –
RL Datix e-Allocate continues to be rolled out across the organisation, 7% of Allied Health Professional rosters are using e-Allocate.
· Administration and Estates –
RL Datix e-Allocate continues to be rolled out across the organisation, 31% of support services are using e-Allocate.

· Administration and Estates
31% of support services are using e-Allocate.
- What is the contract start date for your rostering supplier/suppliers? Please list the name of the supplier and contract start date.
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) entered in to and hold the contract for the system on behalf of all Boards who had not previously had a contract.
