Abortion Access Bill - FOI Response Register

1.    I would like to see a copy of the response made by NHS Shetland to the Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) (Scotland) Bill Consultation.  The consultation deadline was 20th December 2023. 

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.

NHS Shetland has not made a response to this consultation. NHS Shetland does not have an abortion clinic, nor does the Hospital provide surgical abortion. If a woman is seeking a termination of a viable pregnancy, then options will be discussed on an individual basis, which will, where appropriate, include access to abortion services on the mainland.
