1. Broken down by year from 2018 to most recent data available, what was the health board’s overall budget for chronic pain outpatient services?
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. NHS Shetland does not have a specific budget for chronic pain outpatient costs. These costs are included in wider budget areas including Nursing, Consultant and Physiotherapist and cannot be separately identified.
2. Where chronic pain clinics are available, please provide data on staffing levels broken down by year from 2018 to most recent available and further broken down by staff role, i.e. nurse, mental health nurse, consultant, or physiotherapist.
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. We do not directly employ staff for Chronic Pain alone – any work done for this would be part of overall Staff Nurse, Consultant, Physiotherapist role so unable to provide figures
3. For question two, please also provide a breakdown of hours worked or state FTE where applicable.
As above
