  • What is the average waiting time for a Neurodevelopmental assessment for children and adults?

Children:  No time parameters are given but on the current waiting list the longest waiters have been waiting 23 months and of those currently being assessed the average waiting time is 13 months. Difference is due to prioritisation.

Adults: No time parameters are given but on the current waiting list the longest waiters have been waiting 18 months and of those currently being assessed the average waiting time was 18 months.

ADHD figures for adult mental health - Currently there are 114 people on the wait list for ADHD assessment. Currently the average wait time is 9 months from referral to assessment. The list is collectively managed by the CMHT. We do not refer to external independent providers.

Adults: 97
