1. It is my understanding that every health board is required to record the reason why a patient is removed from a waiting list for treatment (outpatient, inpatient, day procedure etc). As such, can I request a full list of the definitions used.
See below list of removal reasons that have been used by NHS Shetland to record why a patient was removed from a waiting list:
ACRT - Take Off List
Admitted As An Emergency
Admitted Via Other Ward/Specialty
Advice - No Further Action
Advice Given - Letter to Follow
Attended / Admitted
Attended / Admitted - Old
Attended / Admitted To Albyn
Attended / Admitted To Golden Jubilee
Cancelled by Patient - Take Off List
Deceased - Take Off List
Did Not Attend - Take Off List
GP - Could Not Attend
GP - Did Not Attend
GP - Inappropriate Referral
GP - Medical Unavailable
GP - No Response to PFB
GP - Refused Reasonable Offer
