1. Can you please confirm the names of all ON-Framework agencies currently supplying to your trust for the following staffing groups: Registered General Nurses (RGNs) & Registered Mental-health Nurses (RMNs), Accident & Emergency (A&E) / Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) Nurses Chemotherapy and Theatre Nurses

2. Can you please list the total number of shifts sent out to each On-Framework agency during October 1st 2023 – February 29th 2024. –

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. NHS Shetland don’t hold shift information. Nurses aren’t booked through TempRE so detailed reporting isn’t available. We do however publish spend information on our Website - Procurement Information – NHS Shetland

3. Can you please confirm the volume of supply, by number of shifts filled and & Shift type, by each ON-Framework agency during October 1st 2023 – February 29th 2024

4. Can you confirm if your On-Framework agency PSL is always looking to on-board new agencies? If not, what dates does the Health Board review this list and look to bring new agencies onto It?

The Framework (contract) is managed by NHS National Services Scotland in a once for Scotland approach. New suppliers can only be added when the contract is renewed. Current contract expires 09/10/26 but does have an option of a 24 month extension

5. Can you please list the services that block book agency nurses?

 We don’t block book. We book locums depending on suitability and experience for area required
