- Please could you also confirm how many hospital treatments/operations were delayed or cancelled as a result of a lack of availability of hospital porters to transport patients from one part of a hospital to another?
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. No cancellation reason used during this period mentioned porters. However this does not necessarily mean no cancellation occurred for this reason as a cancellation for this reason may have been recorded more generically ie as “Staff Sickness”.
