Neurodevelopment Pathway - FOI Response Register

1. Does this health board have a neurodevelopment service / pathway established that patients can be referred to?

Paediatrics response: Paediatrics offer neurodevelopmental assessment and support as appropriate. A pathway is under development and review.

SLT response:  A neurodevelopmental pathway has not yet been established for adults or children.  Work on this is ongoing. SLT manage the children and adult autism pathways.

2. How many adults have been referred to the neurodevelopment pathway, as opposed to adult psychological services?

SLT response:  No dedicated ND Pathway.  Autism referrals managed by SLT. ADHD referrals by Community Mental Health

How many adults are currently waiting for an appointment on the neurodevelopment pathway?

SLT response: There is no dedicated Neurodevelopmental waitlist at this time for adults.

3. How many children have been referred to the neurodevelopment pathway, as opposed to CAMHS, broken down by each year since the Pathway / service existed?

Paediatrics response: Unable to answer this question as Neurodevelopmental disorders have always been seen, in both areas.

SLT response:  There is no neurodevelopmental pathway established as yet. 

4. How many children are currently waiting for an appointment on the neurodevelopment pathway?

There is no dedicated Neurodevelopmental waitlist at this time for children.
