Guidelines - FOI Response Register

Please could you provide the following information?

1. The most recent materials/guidelines for midwives, obstetricians [and GPs if you hold it] about domestic abuse and pregnancy which staff are meant to follow when identifying and supporting a pregnant woman in their care who is a potential victim of domestic abuse.
2. What training you give for using the DASH risk assessment (or equivalent risk assessment).
3. What training your staff receive on coercive control and behaviour?
4. If you have them, guidelines offered on what to look for in a pregnant person's partner as to whether they might be a domestic abuse perpetrator.

Our Staff attend level 2 safeguarding training and supported by a Public Protection Lead Nurse. This includes all staff within maternity and health visiting as well as the health centres.

We work closely with NHS Grampian and use their guidance as well as local guideline s where appropriate.
