Smoke Free Policy - FOI Response Register

1. I am looking for policy information about second hand smoke exposure to staff undertaking home visits.  Could you provide me with the latest smoke free policy (pdf) for your organisation?

2. Could you also provide some additional details about any  documented ongoing plans to update the current policy

The updating of the policy is underway and is awaiting national conformation on consensus for support for vape/e-cigarette users in order to include. The update will also include the addition of the guidance regarding smoking on hospital grounds - Smoking around hospital buildings - Smoking - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). This has been in effect in Shetland since it came into force in September 2022.
