- In regards to the NHS CAMHS service, how many children and young people have been referred to CAMHS due to symptoms relating to loneliness or isolation? (I assume GPs must provide some reason for referral, so this should be the kind of data you are looking for). Please provide this for each financial year since 2019-20, including the current financial year to date.
Shetland CAMHS is a tier 3 service for young people experiencing significant mental health conditions. Loneliness/ isolation would not meet our referral criteria and more appropriate support would be sought through tier 2 / universal services.
- In regards to the NHS Psychological Therapies service, how many adults have been referred to Psychological Therapies due to symptoms relating to loneliness or isolation?
