We had a mobile operating theatre in operation between January 2022 and September 2022 to enable us to provide additional theatre capacity as part of COVID recovery and to complete a capital project to refurbish the Day Surgical Unit and increase its capacity. Scottish Government funded this via additional waiting list allocation. The rental cost of the Theatre for the period in operation was £804,589.

MRI Scanner funded via a North of Scotland project in 2022-23 and 2023-24. NHS Tayside as the lead Board for this North of Scotland project though, hold these costs. Mobile MRI Scanner is no longer required. Permanent MRI scans first patients
