Poor diabetic control
Recurrent / disabling hypos or fear of hypos
Diabetes distress
That they will be safe on an insulin pump

Approx. 20 adults
- Of this figure, how many patients are aged 10 years or under?
0 under 10 years
- What number of patients currently use a closed-loop, continual glucose monitoring (CGM) system which is being entirely funded by NHS Shetland
Under 18 – Closed loop = 9 patients (total Type 1 = 12)
Adults - Closed loop = 7 patients,
Insulin pump only = 11 (2 going on to HCL in the next few weeks, one of which is pregnant)
All type 1 patients are offered either Libre 2 or Dexcom 1 CGM sensors
