Job Evaluation Process - FOI Response Register

1. How and when the NHS Shetland Band 6 Specialist School Nurse and Band 7 Health Visitor job descriptions were evaluated under agenda for change by NHS Shetland.

NHS Shetland has a Band 6 School Nurse role which was evaluated when Agenda for change was implemented (2005) in line with all other roles.  The Band 7 Health Visitor role is nationally agreed – see below

2. I'd like a clear breakdown of how each job description was awarded job evaluation points under Agenda for Change for each element of the job description.

3. Please explain the reasoning as to why the Health Visitor role was awarded a Band 7 and the Specialist School Nurse role was awarded a Band 6. This is for the period 2018 to 2024.
