Can I request the following, broken down by BOTH financial year and calendar year for the last six years (2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25):

1. The total number of whole-time equivalent paediatric nursing posts (establishment)
2. The total number of whole-time equivalent paediatric nursing posts vacancies that have been removed/cancelled.
3. The total number of applicants for advertised paediatric nursing posts

See attached spreadsheet. Please note there have been School Nurse posts advertised but this role is not the same as a Paediatric Nurse post so is not included in numbers provided

Can you confirm whether:

4. The health board has ever launched a recruitment campaign for newly qualified nurses and midwives but had to postpone, pause or cancel recruitment due to a lack of funding to fill posts?

5. Any newly qualified nurses and midwives have been successful in an application process (e.g. passed vetting, application checks, interviews) but have not been employed due to a lack of vacancies? If so, please provide details, including when, where and how many applicants were affected?
