- The number of negligence claims filed against NHS Shetland from 2020 onwards.
Three claims have been received since 2020, only one of which is with regard to clinical negligence.
- Annual statistics related to these claims.
Of the three claims one was received in 2021 which settled in 2023, the other two were received in 2024 and are currently open. Given the low numbers and the real risk of identification in a small community no additional information about the matters raised or settlement amounts is appropriate.
