Inpatient TV Access - FOI Response Register

1. Are inpatients in your health board required to pay to watch television in hospital?

If the answer is no, please disregard the following questions.

2. Do all acute settings in the health board have a charging system for TV access? If not, please provide a list of those that do and those that do not.
3. How much does it cost a patient to watch television? Please also advise if payment is a one-off charge or if a patient is required to top-up payment throughout their stay.
4. Is financial support available to patients who may wish to watch television but cannot afford the payment?
