1. The total number of days of absence from work due to mental ill-health taken by a) nurses and b) midwives in the health board in the 2023/24 financial year.

Nurses - 3828.87 hours lost

Midwives - 7.50 hours lost

2. Where figures are only available in hours, please provide the standard conversion between hours and days worked, i.e. the number of hours considered to be a full working day.

There is not a standard conversion to provide days, as a full working day will be different dependant if full time, which may be more than 7.5 hours/7.4 hours per day, or part time. For this reason absence data is collected and reported nationally in hours.

3. If figures cannot be broken down by a) nurses and b) midwives please provide a total figure for both.
