Cyber Attacks - FOI Response Register

1. Please provide a breakdown of the number of cyberattacks against the health board in each of the past five years showing:

• The cost of dealing with the attack
• If data was breached/stolen
• Any ransom amounts paid to retrieve data
• The origin of each attack if known

No cyberattacks have been recorded by NHS Shetland in the previous five years where data was stolen.  Therefore no costs or ransom amounts paid.

We regularly receive phishing attacks as do all organisations, but none have resulted in successful data exfiltration.
