1. How much has this health board spent on weight loss medication in each year since 2019/20? This includes drugs like Liraglutide, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.

With regards to primary care spend then in accordance with FOISA s 16(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it holds the information requested but that it is exempt from disclosure under FOISA s 25(1) as the information requested is accessible without submitting a request under FOISA s 1(1). It should be noted that GLP-1s are not currently prescribed by NHS Shetland for weight loss, so any costs incurred are linked to their prescribing for patients with type 2 diabetes.

Orlistat is the only weight loss medication prescribed in NHS Shetland.

This is only Orlistat as the others do not apply as no use.
