Hiring Agency Workers Outside Scotland - FOI Response Register

All questions are only with regards to agency workers hired from outside of Scotland.

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.

NHS Shetland do not hold addresses of Agency staffing, as they come through Agencies.

Please provide information broken down by year from calendar year 2018 to most recent data available and by agency staff speciality:

1. How many agency workers has the health board hired from an agency outside of Scotland, and whether hiring agency workers who are travelling from outside of Scotland requires increased payment to cover room/board/expenses.
2. How many agency workers has the health board hired from outside of Scotland.
3. How many agency workers has the health board been required to pay a) room b) board c) travel expenses on top of hourly rate.
4. A breakdown of what the payment to the agency in Q1 for services includes.
5. How much money has the health board spent on a) room and b) board c) travel expenses for agency staff travelling into the health board to cover a shift
