For each clinical negligence case settled by your health board in each of the last two full financial years (2022/23, 2023/24) and so far this financial year (2024/25), please provide:
- The medical speciality concerned in the case
GP, various medical personnel.
- A short description of what occurred in the case to result in a claim of clinical negligence (i.e. failure, delay, misdiagnosis, etc.)
Failure to carry out routine investigation and a delay in diagnosis.
- Please also provide the total amount paid in compensation/damages as a result of settled negligence cases. Please break figures down for each year.
