- Over the last 6 calendar years, if you have had any form of public health campaign or strategy for contraception and how it was distributed?
A calendar of national campaigns is developed by Healthy Shetland which includes the sharing and distribution of a range of health campaigns including those on sexual and reproductive health. A mix of distribution methods are used such as posters displayed in health locations and public spaces, information on social media, engagement with local media and Healthy Shetland website.
Sexual health and reproduction information is also taken as part of information stalls to various events throughout the year such as Pride and agricultural shows.
Health Improvement also provide demonstration kits for use in Schools and other educational settings. This includes relevant information on contraception, this is used in conjunction with school resources appropriate to age group.
