6. How many members of Whole Time Equivalent staff on the addiction care team work on drugs?

The Substance Support and Recovery Service provide support, treatment and therapeutic interventions to people residing in Shetland.  All staff members hold caseloads of patients who use substances and we do not have specific WTE staff for specific substances.  There are 6.8 WTE staff within the team.  The team has access to Consultant Psychiatry support daily due to co-location and dedicated time one day per week for clinics.

7. How many members of Whole Time Equivalent staff on the addiction care team work on alcohol?

As Q 6, additionally there is a GP with special interest in alcohol who is 0.3 WTE and supports patients who have alcohol issues and low / mild mental health issue or diagnosis through a weekly clinic.
