The part of the service with the lengthiest wait is the ADHD pathway – longest wait is currently 16 months.

Figures provided are regarding referrals made where an adult mental health speciality was specified and where rejected referrals is defined as referrals that were vetted “Back to Referrer” or “Referral Onwards Different Speciality”. Please note the later group will include referrals that were rejected for the speciality specified but accepted for another adult mental health service speciality.

Given the children and adolescents mental health services specification our response is already broken down by speciality, with a breakdown of these referrals beyond speciality not being possible. Therefore with regards to the break down into different services in accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.
