Please provide the following information under the FOI (Scotland) Act 2002 in your health board area for the calendar year 2024.
- The top five longest delayed discharge waits for a patient 65 and over for health and social care reasons

The figures provided are based on completed delayed discharge waits during the calendar year 2024.
- The top five longest delayed discharge wait for a patient with dementia for health and social care reasons
In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested: dementia status is not recorded for delayed discharge waits.
Please note that the start of the discharge wait does not have to begin on January 1st 2024. I appreciate that some delayed discharges will have started in 2023 but ended well into 2024.
