Patients with these symptoms will be assessed either by the general surgeons or gynaecologists on an individual basis.

With regards to these statistics on the treatment of women with chronic pelvic pain in accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. This is because patients with these symptoms are seen in clinics that also see many non-chronic pelvic pain patients.
