Consultants - FOI Response Register

1. A list of consultants or doctors (under NHS Shetland) who have hosted clinical attachments or observerships for international medical graduates (IMGs) in the past 8 years (from 2017 to 2025).

We do not provide clinical attachments in Shetland – we are a small team and have limited substantive staff to oversee this. We have to focus on education and clinical supervision for rotational trainees and medical students. There is no capacity in our system to accept clinical attachments or operatorships.

2. For each clinician, please include:

• Full name
• Role or title (e.g., Consultant, Clinical Fellow, etc.)
• Specialty
• Hospital name (within your trust) where the attachment was hosted
• NHS or work email address
