NHS Shetland do not currently have any FaME classes.  We use Otago and have given figures for that, in case that is helpful.

  1. Approximately how many individuals took part in the FaME classes that you commissioned or provided during this period?

52 individuals were referred into an Otago programme at a SRT leisure centre. 9 individuals did the exercise programme at home instead of attending a class

  1. What is the typical length of the programme funded per participant?

Each individual that's referred into the class gets the first 8 week period free of charge. This is as part of the MOU agreed with SRT and the Shetland health board. It's not part of any FaME commissioning.
