Accommodation - FOI Response Register

1. I wish to make a Freedom of Information Request for the cost in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 to the present date of the amount spent on Hotels & B&Bs for overnight accommodation for patients, with a breakdown of each year.

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.

NHS Shetland does not hold separate records for patient accommodation costs. These expenses are reimbursed under the Highlands and Islands Travel Scheme (HITS), which encompasses both travel and accommodation costs. As such, accommodation costs are not individually coded or itemised within our financial systems and cannot be reported separately from travel-related reimbursements.
